Our organisation got a sub grant from the European Union through a Non Governmental Organisation known as Women Environmental Programme (WEP) under the Women 2030 Project: CSOs networking to realise the Sustainable Development Goals.
We implemented it in Benue State by Promoting Menstrual Hygiene Management Among Secondary School Girls. Some of the activities carried out were;
- Advocacy visits to the State Ministries of Women Affairs and Social Development and; Education
- Airing of Radio programme on creating awareness to the public on Menstrual Hygiene Management
- A one day sensitisation workshop to train adolescent girls and boys on the production of simple Reusable sanitary pads and to also create awareness on the said topic.
